Coordinator for St Ives and St Neots


15 hours per week

£7.50 – £8.00 per hour plus benefits

The co-ordinator will act as a town liaison for all current and new HBAC members within St Ives and St Neots.  The ideal candidate will continue to grow the scheme and nurture relationships with partner agencies and co-ordinate the daily requirements of this non-profit making scheme.  The role will include providing administrative support to the HBAC team, gather, collate and process sensitive information with the aim of reducing and preventing crime and anti-social behaviour.

In addition you must have excellent customer service skills with experience of all Microsoft Office programs, data input, mail merge, accounts, building relationships and diary management. A background in the retail, the constabulary or security sector is desirable. A high level of integrity is essential.  The successful applicant will become the schemes registered Data Controller and it is therefore desirable to have a working knowledge of the Data Protection Act.

The position is based in St Ives and St Neots with some local travel required. The successful applicant will also be required to undergo DBS (previously CRB) checks.

Reporting directly to the HBAC Manager, the post is for one year but is likely to be renewed subject to continued funding and successful results.
